The snow-sure ski resort is split into two separate areas with a total of approximately 50 km of slopes, the Riesneralm and the Planneralm. The Planneralm is the highest ski village in Styria! For enthusiasts, the famous Schladming-Dachstein (230 km ski slope) is a 35-minute drive away. Schladming-Dachstein is part of "Ski amadé", a diverse snow-sport paradise with more than 760 km of slopes.

The Feriendorf Donnersbachwald is located about 1.5 km from the Riesneralm slopes. The chalets are spaced at a good distance from each other on plots of 500-600m2. Several chalets feature an underground garage, including "Chalet Hirschblick". With a total of about 35 chalets positioned at different heights, The Feriendorf looks very charming and cosy. Because Chalet Hisrschblick is located on the highest point of the "Feriendorf", you have a beautiful view of the surroundings and look out over all of the other chalets.
